Hardware requirements:
    Each student enrolled in the class should have, or have access to, a personal computer system with
    internet access and a reliable printer.  The speed at which the computer operates is of little consequence
    as long as it is adequate to read/download readings and assignments.

    Note: A malfunctioning computer system is no excuse for failing to perform assignments or communicating
            via email with the instructor.
